Description: Interdisciplinary and community engaged research is increasingly important in the WEF nexus and food security fields. Please join the Student and Early Career Professional (SECP) community in learning from Dr. Schmitt Olabisi during this virtual workshop.
Dr. Schmitt Olabisi is a professor at Michigan State University and a co-Principal Investigator for Sustainfood. She does participatory systems modeling by working directly with stakeholders to create more sustainable systems. She has worked in communities in Southeast Asia, West Africa, and the United States on a range of issues in agriculture, food and natural resources.
This is part of the SECP mentorship workshop series, which is based on topics that were suggested by our own SECP community members.
